I often leave just a small amount of the painting unfinished when I am nearing the end. This isn’t laziness. Often I feel some other areas of the painting need attention and when I return my batteries are fully recharged again and if the painting takes a few more hours then I have the mental capacity to see it through. Good painting session this morning.
