Scrubbing is the technique here, all my brushes have lost their fine point and this seems to be my preferred method of the moment. It reminds me of Roualt in that the painting surface seems to be assaulted and battered and yet somehow despite the ‘crude’ application there is a beauty in the work. This painting is finished.
