all is well in the world. The problems begin to grow when I am away from painting for too long. Simple solution is to paint more often but for some reason this is a lesson that I have learnt and forgotten a thousand times. To be more positive, this painting reminds me of the late Guston work, I think its because my simplified trees look like the hooded men, and his often use of mixing large quantities of white into all his colours. Much preferring this lighter palette, this is the way forward for me.
